Description: This workshop/retreat is the perfect opportunity for professional and pre-professional dancers to immerse themselves in dance while enjoying the pastoral beauty of the Driftless region of southwestern Wisconsin. Participants will take daily classes in technique, creative process, yoga, repertory and conditioning. In addition, those participants who choose to do so, may develop or reconstruct choreography on other participants under mentorship of dance faculty. Dances developed will be presented in a concert to occur on the last evening of the retreat. This retreat is perfect for professional dancers looking for a space that allows serenity, dance teachers wanting to recharge at the end of a busy year, and university students getting ready for summer jobs and workshops.
